**NOTE: Per California Penal Code section 11102.1, we only accept current valid and unexpiredpicture identification documents as listed above.A temporary DMV license (paper print out) cannot be accepted.
WHAT TO BRING to the LIVE SCAN PROVIDER
Bring 3 copies of the “Request for Live Scan Service Form”. The forms must be completed in advance, and our live scan technicians will not be able to assist you in filling out the form.
LIVE SCAN INFORMATION
To get your live scan results, contact the DOJ at 916-227-4557. You will need your Date of Birthand Automated Transaction Identifier (ATI number),
found on the bottom of the live scan request form.
FEES:
Our fingerprint rolling fee starting from $30-45 (may vary per requesting agency and service provider). This must be paid directly to the live scan technician and is separate from fees collected by the DOJ and FBI.
If your organization does not have a billing arrangement with the DOJ,
then the DOJ and FBI fees will also need to be paid to the live scan technician at the time of your fingerprinting appointment.
DOJ and FBI fees are generally:
* Department of Justice Fee = $32.00
* Federal Bureau of Investigation Fee = $17.00 (if required)
* Other Fees may apply as per agency request.

MOBILE LIVE SCAN SERVICES: We provide evening and weekend mobile live scan service by appointment only, in Alameda County, San Francisco County, San Mateo County, and Contra Costa County.
We will come to your home, office or schools for groups of 5 or more.
Travel Fees may apply and varies per location.
